Small Horn Mugs - Bushman

Small but very mighty! :) I love these little horn mugs, the design is my Bushman; based on ancient Nordic carvings.

Perfect for everyday use, whether you prefer a mixer or your favourite juice
The smaller mugs make it easy to enjoy your drinks in style

A Short History of Drinking Horns:

Drinking horns have been used for tens of thousands of years, likely even before humans existed! Evidence throughout Europe dates back to 6,000 years BC with evidence from grave finds and carvings from Greek, Roman, Celt as well as the Vikings.
They were used a lot up to the 12th Century where they started to lose favour with the common population however were still used and are used today as symbols of office including Nobles, Clergy and Guildsmen.

Horn Care Instructions:

• Clean it after each use with warm water, washing up liquid and a sponge.
• Towel or air dry completely before storing it.
• Apply a food-safe oil to the surface of the horn. I recommend mineral oil.
• Stick to beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks
• DO NOT DISHWASHER.
• If you notice any stubborn stains or persistent odours, baking soda paste or vinegar soak can help.
