History Of Dice:

Dice have been used since before recorded history. It is thought that dice developed from the practice of fortune-telling by throwing knucklebones! Seen in Egypt from 4000BCE, Iran between 2800 and 2500 BCE, Scotland (Skara Brae) 3100–2400 BCE and of course from the Viking Burial ground in Gotland, Sweden, where this style die (dice) has been styled from.

Perfect for re-enactment, modern Vikings, LARP, Cosplay or any dice game.
Please remember these are hand made so will vary in size, shape so wont be calibrated like today's plastic varieties.

Made in my workshop in South Wales.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Definitely a different shade from the photo and the numbers are a bit harder to see than expected, however, feels so nice with a good weight and my first roll was a Nat 20!

I really wanted to like these. The idea is exactly what I've been looking for for decades. The pictures from the seller show a really nice contrast and as you can see from my picture, it is not that. Someone being a bit older my eyes are fading. I really appreciate good contrast for my dice. The numbers in some cases are close to the same shade as the bone. Maybe in the future having high contrast, white bone with the darker numbers would be the best bet. Hopefully, this will be addressed in the future.

Hi,
Really sorry to hear about your fading eyesight, maybe I will try and make some extra big ones in the future :)
The bones are natural items and come in various shades, if you had let me know I would of replaced them for a lighter set for you or even coloured the numbers white as I specialise in customisations.
Kind regards,
Paul
