Viking Bone Dice - real bone not resin! Based from authentic finds from Gotland.
This set gives you hours of fun around the fire or dining table. From very simple and quick games like Liars Dice and Taflkast to a longer more tactical game like Farkle!

1 x Long D4 bone die. Hejnum, Gotland. 4cm
2 x Large D6 bone dice. Ed, Uppland. 2 cm
4 x Small D6 bone dice. Adre, Gotland. 1cm
1 x Rules sheet for 6 dice games. Including 2 variants of Taflkast.

History Of Dice:

Dice have been used since before recorded history. It is thought that dice developed from the practice of fortune-telling by throwing knucklebones! Seen in Egypt from 4000BCE, Iran between 2800 and 2500 BCE, Scotland (Skara Brae) 3100–2400 BCE and of course from the Viking Burial ground in Gotland and Upland, Sweden, where these dice have been styled from.
