Who were the Viking Berserkers?
Berserkers are shrouded in mystery. Some say they were champion warriors who would wear Animal Furs as a mark of their prowess. Others that they we’re suicide warriors who took substances before a battle to give them no fear and to fight as ten men in an animalistic state!
Drinking Horn Details
Large: 500ml or over.
A Nordic style Bear Head adorns the bottom of this Drinking Horn with matching Brass Knotwork along the lip. These styles are authentic to the Viking Age.
Horns in History
Drinking horns were used throughout Europe (Viking, Greek, Roman, Germanic Tribes and Saxons) up to around the 12th Century where pottery starts to become more wide spread.
How To Clean A Drinking Horn:
Rinse with warm soapy water
Allow to dry completely
Apply a food grade oil, mineral or veg oil is OK
If you notice a persistent odour soak with White Vinegar and Water for a couple of hours.
DO NOT DISHWASHER or use hot water.
