Drinking Horn Tankard - The Binding of Fenrir Wolf

Viking Drinking Tankard showing The Binding of Fenrir Wolf by the Gods, these are probably the best carved horns on the market!

As Loki's son grows the God's begin to fear him, they decide to bind him with chains that he easily breaks. The God's decide to turn to the Dwarf's to create a magical material to do the job. Fenrir smells a trap and agrees to be bound if one of the God's places their hand in his mouth first. This is where Fenrir's friend, Tyr the God of War, steps up. Fenrir is bound and cannot escape, he asks the Gods to remove the chains but they have no intention of letting the beast escape! Fenrir bights down hard on the man who had looked after him and fed him...
