I bought several sets of the hinges and locks for some Norse style chests I was making. All I can say is this craftsman is excellent, the hinges work really well and are in keeping with my project. The lock and key is to the same superb standard, work well and really finish a sea chest off perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchases, fast delivery and well packaged. Excellent value for money considering the work that must go into these items.

A hand-forged carbon steel cutlery set with ox bone handles, made in the medieval tradition — before eating forks existed. In much of medieval Europe, diners used a knife and pick to cut and carry food from trencher to mouth. This set brings that tradition back to life.
Each set includes a hand-forged D2 polished steel knife, an eating spike, and a hand-stitched leather carry case. Made to order in South Wales.
Perfect for reenactment, bushcraft, camping, BBQ, or any banquet worth attending.

Very excited to use this with my medieval kit, the handles are comfortable to hold and the sheath keeps them secure. Slightly adjusted the leather cord so it hangs very nicely on my belt now
Great item. Really good craftsmanship. But I needed to punch another hole in the scabbard to get it hang properly.
For the money this is an excellent starter cutlery set. Handles are too short for my fat hands but they are well made nonetheless.
Hi Gaius, thank you for your feedback. Not sure if 1 star fits with the great feedback though :). We're glad you find the set well made, and we'll consider your comments about handle length for future designs. If you have any other suggestions or questions, feel free to reach out!
I didn't plan on getting one but after seeing what it is and learning a bit about the design I couldn't resist. As expected build quality is good, nice bone handles and the blade is very sharp for cutting steak. With a very nice sheath to keep it all together, wish I could use it in a restaurant but might get some funny looks.
