Every Freeman carried a Seax — men and women alike. This is the full-size version: a 16" blade-forward camp knife in 5160 carbon steel with an olive wood handle and brass fittings. Equally at home fleshing a deer hide, preparing food around the camp, or standing up to scrutiny on the re-enactment field.

Designed by Paul at Bushman Survival and crafted to his specification.

The traditional leather sheath is worn horizontally on a belt — the authentic carry method. Suitable for re-enactment from 400 to 1400AD.

Want it customised with a name, runes, or your own design? Get in touch and I'll work with you on it.
