A substantial medieval padlock based on an authentic find from Birka/Björkö in Sweden. This spring arm lock design has been found across a remarkable range of history — from BC right through to the 18th century — and as far afield as Asia. That's a design that stood the test of time across cultures and continents.

Perfect for securing a medieval chest or Viking casket, and ideal for keeping sharps away from the public at reenactment events. These can be used for Multi Period reenactment from Roman to Medieval ages.
