I bought several sets of the hinges and locks for some Norse style chests I was making. All I can say is this craftsman is excellent, the hinges work really well and are in keeping with my project. The lock and key is to the same superb standard, work well and really finish a sea chest off perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchases, fast delivery and well packaged. Excellent value for money considering the work that must go into these items.

Viking Bone Dice — Made the Way Our Ancestors Did
These stunning dice are based on an authentic archaeological find and crafted using the same methods our ancestors used thousands of years ago. Not plastic, not resin — real bone, hand-carved in South Wales.
These are replicas so are the same size as the grave find approx 8-10mm. Prefer a larger, easier-to-handle die? See our Viking Ring and Dot Bone Dice — 15mm size.
A Brief History of Dice
Dice predate written history, believed to have evolved from fortune-telling with knucklebones. Found across the ancient world — Egypt from 4000 BCE, Iran from 2800–2500 BCE, and Skara Brae in Scotland from 3100–2400 BCE. This style is directly inspired by dice discovered in a Viking burial ground in Gotland, Sweden. When you roll these, you're part of a tradition thousands of years old.

So, the dice are pretty cool and I could tell that a lot of hard work went into crafting them. However, they are A LOT smaller than I was expecting them to be. I thought they would be the conventional size of most regular dice (ranging from 12mm - 16mm) instead of the size that they actually are. If I'm not mistaken, the size of these dice were not listed in the item description. If it was, I probably wouldn't have bought them in the first place.
Hi Logan, thank you for your feedback. I understand the size was a surprise, as these are replicas from a Viking Burial, which are smaller than typical dice. I'm working on offering larger versions soon and have updated the listing to show sizes more clearly. If you're not entirely satisfied, I'm happy to issue a refund. Thanks for your understanding! Best, Paul
Love these dice! Got them as a gift and liked them so much I got my own
They are pretty good quality, unfortunately one of them almost immediately cracked in two, however it was easy enough to glue it back together with contact glue and it has been holding up so far.
OMG they look perfect! i was worried there would be a noticable difference in length one way or another but NOPE these are fully functioning amazing looking dice. im gonna get more so i can play knucklebones without writting the numbers down.
