Kuksa — Hand-Carved Nordic Wooden Mug

A kuksa is a traditional Scandinavian wooden cup — known as guksi in Finnish or kåsa in Swedish — carved from a single piece of wood and used for centuries by people living and working outdoors. Similar finds have been discovered in Viking burials, some carved with dragon heads and knotwork patterns.

These kuksa are approximately 250ml — the right size for a proper coffee, a warming brew around the fire, or your favourite cold drink. Each one is hand-carved in South Wales, so exact size, shape and colour will vary.
