Mini Kuksa — Hand-Carved Espresso Cup, 50ml

A kuksa is a traditional Scandinavian wooden cup — known as guksi in Finnish or kåsa in Swedish — carved from a single piece of wood and used for centuries by people living and working outdoors. Similar finds have been discovered in Viking burials, some carved with dragon heads and knotwork patterns.

These mini kuksa are made as espresso cups, approximately 50ml — the right size for a morning coffee, an evening dram, or a nip of something warming around the fire. Each one is hand-carved in South Wales, so exact size, shape and colour will vary.
