Odin vs Fenrir Drinking Horn

This drinking horn depicts one of the most dramatic moments in all of Norse mythology — the final battle between Odin and the great wolf Fenrir at Ragnarök.

In the Prose Edda, it is foretold that at Ragnarök, Fenrir will break free from his bonds and run across the earth with his upper jaw touching the sky and his lower jaw dragging the ground. Odin himself rides out to face him, knowing full well the prophecy — that Fenrir will swallow the Allfather whole. It is Víðarr, Odin's son, who avenges him, driving his blade through the wolf's jaw. A battle of fate, sacrifice, and the end of an age.

How To Care For Your Drinking Horn:

• Rinse with warm soapy water
• Allow to dry completely
• Apply a food grade oil (mineral or veg oil is fine)
• If you notice a persistent odour, soak with white vinegar and water for a couple of hours
• DO NOT put in the dishwasher or use hot water
