I bought several sets of the hinges and locks for some Norse style chests I was making. All I can say is this craftsman is excellent, the hinges work really well and are in keeping with my project. The lock and key is to the same superb standard, work well and really finish a sea chest off perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchases, fast delivery and well packaged. Excellent value for money considering the work that must go into these items.

Oseberg Viking Platter — Handmade, Based on the Original Find
Oseberg Viking Platter — Handmade, Based on the Original Find
Couldn't load pickup availability
A handmade wooden platter based directly on an original find from the Oseberg ship burial — one of the most significant Viking Age discoveries ever made. The Oseberg ship, dated to around 850AD, was unearthed near Tønsberg in Norway and is considered among the finest artefacts to survive from the Viking Age. These platters were among the items found aboard.
No computer-printed designs, no machine carving, no lasers — just traditional craftsmanship. Each one is carved slightly differently, as any handmade piece should be. Personalisation available — different carved heads or runes on request.

Thank you Graham, both for the great review and also so choosing this great design for me to make for you. I always love adding new products but rarely get around to making them without first being commissioned by a customer :)
