I bought several sets of the hinges and locks for some Norse style chests I was making. All I can say is this craftsman is excellent, the hinges work really well and are in keeping with my project. The lock and key is to the same superb standard, work well and really finish a sea chest off perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchases, fast delivery and well packaged. Excellent value for money considering the work that must go into these items.

How to Blow a War Horn
These are functional instruments and do require a technique — it’s not quite like blowing a trumpet, but once you get it, the sound is extraordinary. I’ll be posting a YouTube tutorial shortly on how to get the best sound from yours.
A Brief History
Horns have been used as signalling instruments across ancient cultures for thousands of years — from battlefield commands to hunting calls. Viking war horns were used to rally warriors, signal attacks, and communicate across the chaos of battle. When you sound this horn, you’re echoing that tradition.

This is a perfect addition to my Viking kit. Took me a little bit to learn how to blow it but it’s quite easy now. Looks great with my custom axe head, learned the hard way that Etsy has a finite time span to leave a review for that but I love the look of the hand carving. Highly recommended seller!
Cool and simple. A great WarHorn!
It finally arrived in Japan two weeks after I placed the order.
The box was all dented, haha—
but thanks to the careful packaging, there wasn’t a scratch on it! Much appreciated… ( ´人`)
I gave it a quick try…
Boom! I managed to get a good sound out of it for a few seconds!
I get it now—I’ll need some practice!
Thanks for this awesome companion.
The item was exactly what we ordered as per the photo. Delivery service was ridiculously slow, the item was bought 11 Dec 2024 and I could only collect it 29 Jan 2025. It was shipped from UK to SA, so not the sellers fault. Paul was great and always friendly even when I complained about the delay in delivery! Will definitely recommend his shop for orders.
