How to Blow a War Horn
These are functional instruments and do require a technique — it’s not quite like blowing a trumpet, but once you get it, the sound is extraordinary. I’ll be posting a YouTube tutorial shortly on how to get the best sound from yours.
A Brief History
Horns have been used as signalling instruments across ancient cultures for thousands of years — from battlefield commands to hunting calls. Viking war horns were used to rally warriors, signal attacks, and communicate across the chaos of battle. When you sound this horn, you’re echoing that tradition.
I bought several sets of the hinges and locks for some Norse style chests I was making. All I can say is this craftsman is excellent, the hinges work really well and are in keeping with my project. The lock and key is to the same superb standard, work well and really finish a sea chest off perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchases, fast delivery and well packaged. Excellent value for money considering the work that must go into these items.
Had a little incident of getting the wrong order but the seller was so nice about sorting it. Both the wrong order and the order place came very quick and are very well made! Absolutely recommend!!
